Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Manchester is seeking a Breakfast Food & Beverage Assistant (Casual) at Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre to join a friendly team. You will work across breakfast service, greet guests, upsell, and maintain high standards of hospitality.

The role requires previous hospitality experience, flexible mornings/evenings/weekends, and fluent English. Training is provided through our Dalata Academy, with opportunities for development and internal progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality is essential.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment preferred.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Know the food and wine offerings and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue where possible.
• Perform general cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
