Job summary

This role also involves preparing sandwiches and simple dishes for meetings, supporting occasional evening events when agreed, and upholding food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing cooked breakfasts and simple dishes.
• Ability to prepare sandwiches, light lunches and basic buffets.
• Good organisation and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable for early starts and breakfast service.
• Clear communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safe storage and allergen procedures.
• Previous hotel, café or similar kitchen experience preferred.
• A relevant food hygiene qualification is desirable.
• Experience in event catering would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistent, high-quality breakfast experience.
• Keep breakfast service organised, efficient, and timely.
• Prepare sandwiches, light lunches, and simple meeting refreshments as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise waste.
