Job summary

The Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield, part of RBH Hospitality Management, is seeking a Breakfast Assistant to join our morning team. You will greet guests, set up the buffet to Marriott standards, replenish items and serve hot beverages with care.

You will help maintain cleanliness, support kitchen prep, and deliver friendly service in a fast-paced breakfast environment. This 30-hour contract over five days offers a supportive team, paid breaks, and employee benefits including staff meals and

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude for guest mornings.
• Strong attention to detail for buffet and dining areas.
• Prior food service or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management during the morning shift.
• Team-oriented with kitchen and front-of-house collaboration.
• Flexible, reliable and able to handle early shifts.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome to start their day.
• Set up the breakfast buffet to Marriott brand standards.
• Prepare and replenish breakfast items for service.
• Serve tea, coffee and breakfast orders with attentiveness.
• Clear tables and reset them promptly for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in breakfast areas.
• Assist with kitchen prep and basic food tasks.
• Provide local knowledge and recommendations to guests.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and guest safety.
