Job summary

Lingfield Marriott Hotel is seeking a motivated Casual Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen team and deliver an exceptional breakfast experience for guests. You will prepare and present high-quality dishes, ensure freshness and stock, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen while following Marriott standards.

The role requires independent work during busy breakfast service, with flexibility to support other kitchen services as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a breakfast chef or hotel kitchen role.
• Strong focus on food quality and guest satisfaction.
• Able to work independently and manage time during busy breakfast service.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to support other kitchen services when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality breakfast dishes.
• Keep breakfast stock well-stocked and replenished during service.
• Manage food prep and cooking efficiently for a busy hotel breakfast operation.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Follow food safety, health and safety procedures and allergen management.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the manager.
• Attend required health and safety training.
• Support other kitchen operations as needed.
