Longridge House in Longridge is seeking a passionate Breakfast Chef to join our acclaimed kitchen team. You will craft a variety of breakfast dishes, maintain high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation, and help ensure a smooth service to start each guest's day.

You’ll work early shifts in a supportive, friendly environment with opportunities for growth in a prestigious dining destination known for culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven breakfast chef or commis chef experience in busy hotel/restaurant.
• Strong breakfast menu knowledge and cooking techniques.
• Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
• Positive attitude; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent hygiene and food safety knowledge.
• Passion for delicious, well-presented breakfast dishes.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As our Breakfast Chef, you'll be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking a diverse range of breakfast dishes, from classic English breakfasts to delicate pastries and international selections.

• Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene.

• Managing your section efficiently, maintaining stock levels and minimizing waste.

• Working closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to ensure a seamless breakfast service.

• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or Commis Chef in a busy hotel or restaurant environment.

• A strong understanding of breakfast menus and different cooking techniques.

• Reliability and punctuality are key, as you’ll be responsible for early morning shifts.

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
