Job summary

Only Chefs Ltd seeks an experienced Breakfast Chef de Partie for a prestigious luxury hotel kitchen in a rural setting. You will lead the breakfast service, cook and present dishes to high standards, and guide junior team members.

The role requires passion for quality hospitality, HACCP compliance, and a reliable car due to limited public transport. Salary £33,824.16 per annum plus a £4.5k–£5k service charge, with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a quality hotel or restaurant.
• Excellent breakfast cooking skills.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Own vehicle and driving licence essential due to remote location.

Responsibilities

• Lead your section during breakfast service to ensure exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare, cook and present breakfast dishes to consistently high standards.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Ensure your section remains clean, organised and fully prepared for service.
• Assist with stock control, stock rotation and ordering.
• Support cost control and minimise food waste.
• Train, mentor and support Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in line with recipes and quality specifications.
• Suggest new menu ideas and seasonal breakfast specials.
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
• Follow all health & safety, food safety and company procedures.

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Breakfast Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade of a prestigious luxury hotel set within beautiful countryside grounds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys delivering exceptional breakfast service in a high-quality hospitality environment.

Please note: Due to the hotel's rural location, there is no practical public transport available. Applicants must have their own car and a valid driving licence to commute to work.

Requirements

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Passion for high-quality food and hospitality.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Own vehicle and driving licence essential due to the remote location.

Desirable

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
• COSHH awareness.
• First Aid qualification.
• Experience within luxury hotel or fine dining kitchens.
