RE Recruitment in the Stroud area is seeking a passionate Breakfast Chef to join an independent Pub with rooms currently operating at one Rosette. You will work with a small, dedicated kitchen team under the Head Chef, delivering breakfast and transitioning to lunchtime service using fresh, local ingredients while contributing to menu development.

The ideal candidate will have drive, a real passion for cooking, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to cook high-quality breakfast and support lunch service.
• Willingness to contribute ideas for the menu.
• Experience in a similar property or readiness to step up from Senior Commis/Demi Chef de Partie.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate & highly motivated Breakfast Chef to support our valued Client, an independent Pub with rooms, currently operating at one Rosette.

Based in the Stroud area, working alongside a small team of experienced, passionate Chefs, the key focus of the Breakfast Chef role will be supporting the Head Chef, producing comforting, well-cooked British/ French dishes using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients.

You will have the opportunity to work with good produce and most importantly in a friendly environment with excellent facilities and a fabulous, supportive owner, while contributing to menu development and presentation.

As Breakfast Chef, your main duty will be to produce freshly cooked breakfast for the guests, before moving into lunchtime service. You will ensure smooth running of service, while preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.

The ideal Breakfast Chef will;

• Have a current minimum Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, but this can be arranged.
• Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef & kitchen team to produce exciting dishes.
• Have a love for seasonal and local produce.
• Demonstrate a solid skill set including sound knowledge on meat, fish and veg prep.
• Have experience as a Breakfast Chef level in a similar property, or the Client would be happy to consider a Senior Commis / Demi Chef de Partie who is looking to step up and learn.
• Show willingness to learn new skills, and an active team player with excellent communication skills.
• Hours are 07.00am - 15.30 approximately 5 days per week on a rota.
