Job summary

JH Recruitment & Consultancy is seeking a permanent Customer Service Administrator in Normanton for a busy, friendly and fast-paced business. You will handle breakdown calls, coordinate with suppliers and engineers, and keep customers informed to get them back up and running quickly.

You will work closely with colleagues across departments, deliver a professional service, and must have own transport due to location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation
• Full driving licence and own transport

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming breakdown calls and identify the appropriate solution
• Liaise with suppliers and engineering support to arrange repairs and assistance
• Keep customers regularly updated by phone and email on the progress of their vehicle or equipment repair
• Ensure downtime is kept to an absolute minimum and escape issues where necessary
• Liaise with other departments to raise purchase orders and recharges
• Work with the accounts team to resolve billing queries
• Work closely with finance, workshop and sales teams
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer and breakdown records
• Deliver a professional, friendly and courteous service at all times
• Manage multiple customer queries and breakdowns within a busy environment
