Job summary

Halfords Careers is seeking a motivated Breakdown Advisor for our Stafford Support Centre. In a 24/7, fast‑paced environment, you’ll manage commercial breakdowns to SLA, acting as a key ambassador for HCFS and supporting a customer‑centric culture.

The role is onsite in Stafford with shifts Mon‑Fri, typically 06:00–12:00, and opportunities to grow within a busy, performance‑driven team.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with excellent people skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast‑paced, changing environment and meet targets.
• Ability to identify key information and escalate issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Respond to breakdown calls promptly and manage work within SLA timeframes.
• Use initiative and sound decision making to resolve issues quickly.
• Engage with drivers, suppliers and stakeholders to support timely resolutions.
• Meet and exceed performance KPIs for accuracy, efficiency and quality.
• Participate in training and development to progress in the role.
