LKQ Euro Car Parts in Carlisle is seeking a Branch Assistant to support all branch operations, including deliveries, warehouse tasks and trade counter service. You will help maintain high standards, serve customers and ensure smooth branch performance.

The role offers diverse daily tasks, hands-on training, and opportunities across the UK & Europe within a busy branch network. A full UK driving licence and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support roles.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.
• Flexible, reliable and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time and provide excellent service.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally.
• Support Click & Collect customers and assist at the trade counter.
• Help resolve customer queries and contribute to a positive experience.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with goods receiving, stock movements and dispatch activities.
• Maintain stock accuracy through daily checks and inventory procedures.
• Support stock takes and ensure safe, correct storage.
• Keep shelves available and warehouse organized.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and keep company vehicles clean and compliant.
• Use delivery technology and handheld devices accurately.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and complete training.
• Support branch audits and governance requirements.
• Attend daily team briefings and contribute ideas to improve branch performance.
• Collaborate across the branch to achieve shared goals.
• Develop skills through learning and training.
