Job summary

Newcastle Building Society is seeking a Branch Network Operations Partner to lead the development of operational governance and standards across its branch network. You’ll use data and customer feedback to drive improvements, collaborate with Property, Risk, Compliance, HR and Digital teams, and support new openings and refurbishments.

The role emphasizes independent, proactive work, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering practical, well-structured actions to improve customer outcomes

Qualifications

• Strong operational branch experience within financial services or regulated customer-facing environment.
• Proactive self-starter who can work independently and build relationships across the business.
• Excellent communicator capable of briefing senior stakeholders and translating complex requirements into clear actions.
• Able to challenge processes, review frameworks and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of operational frameworks, governance and standards for the branch network.
• Use insights, feedback and performance data to identify opportunities and drive positive change.
• Support new branch openings and refurbishments and maintain risk registers.
• Shape the future operating model, review processes and improve efficiency across the network.
