Job summary

Leeds Building Society in Southampton is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the branch, drive compliant, efficient operations and develop a high performing team delivering exceptional service to members. You will motivate colleagues to succeed, manage day-to-day branch performance, and empower positive financial conversations for customers.

You’ll ensure regulatory compliance, oversee risk, and use data to improve outcomes across savings, mortgages and insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a retail/financial services environment.
• Strong customer service ethos and ability to build trusted relationships with members.
• Solid understanding of FCA rules and Consumer Duty relevant to banking products.
• Ability to use performance data and metrics to drive branch improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Southampton branch team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure compliant, efficient branch operations and risk management in day-to-day activities.
• Drive branch performance against objectives through coaching, motivation and clear accountability.
