Job summary

Switch Car Rental is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive branch KPIs while delivering premier customer service. You will recruit, train and manage staff with HR support, focusing on converting opportunities into sales and ensuring operational excellence.

This role is a 40-hour week, with weekend work across branches. We offer a company car, generous holiday allowance, pension contributions, employee discounts, and bonus potential to reward top performance.

Qualifications

• Hardworking individual with the ability to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ideally, you will have previous management experience in the service industry.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Hold a full-valid driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, with no more than 9 points on your DVLA check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of the rental branch and exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure all reservations, bookings and enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently while identifying sales opportunities and upselling.
• Manage the damage process and ensure the team is trained on the process and service level agreements are met.
• Maintain a positive, upbeat and professional persona to support team morale.

BRANCH MANAGER

Are you looking for a challenge in a fast-paced environment? Do you have current or previous experience? If so, this may be the opportunity for you! On-the-job training provided.

As Branch Manager,you will be responsible for leading and developing a great team whilst striving to exceed your KPIs. You will drive the branch forward by increasing business levels and ensuring premier quality service to new and existing customers. The role will involve recruiting, training, and managing the staff within the branch with the assistance of the in-house HR and Recruitment teams.

How will your days look?

In your role, you will oversee the smooth running of your rental branch and exceeding customer expectations. In a typical day, you will ensure all reservations, bookings and enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently whilst identifying sales opportunities and motivating your team in upselling. You will manage the damage process and ensure your team are fully trained on the process and ensure all service level agreements are met. As this is a fast paced, and sometimes a high-pressure environment, you will need to always project an upbeat and professional persona to help your teams morale.

This role is 40 hour per week contract, working across the week as branches are open on the weekend.
