Job summary

VTA Recruitment is hiring a Branch/Rental Fleet Manager in Middleton/Manchester to lead a busy vehicle hire operation. You will oversee bookings, fleet management, vehicle inspections and customer service while driving profitability and growth.

The role requires hands-on leadership and experience in car/van hire, with autonomy to own and develop the branch. Monday–Friday, some Saturdays; salary £29k–£35k DOE plus bonus and a company vehicle (OTE £50k).

Qualifications

• Previous car or van hire experience is essential.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Strong customer service and people-management skills.
• Organised, reliable and confident working independently.
• Practical, hands-on attitude with strong administration skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

We're Hiring Branch / Rental Fleet Manager

Car & Van Hire | Middleton, Manchester

£29,000 - £35,000 DOE + BONUS + COMPANY VEHICLE | OTE £50,000

TAKE OWNERSHIP OF A BUSY VEHICLE HIRE BRANCH

We are a small, independent and growing car and van hire company looking for an experienced, hands-on Branch/RentalFleetManagerto take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our busy hire branch. This is not a desk-only role. You'll be involved across the business, from customer service and bookings to fleet management, vehicle availability and team leadership.

You'll have the autonomy to make the branch your own, introduce new ideas, improve operations and play a key role in growing the business. You'll also be responsible for building your branch support team, either by bringing an experienced Hire Assistant with you or recruiting and onboarding the right person.

The Role
