Job summary

LKQ Europe in Watford is seeking a Branch Assistant to support daily branch operations across deliveries, warehouse tasks and trade counter service. You will play a vital role in keeping the branch running smoothly and delivering on the customer promise.

The role offers a varied, hands-on experience in a busy retail logistics environment with full training, a supportive team and opportunities to develop new skills and progress within LKQ across the UK & Europe.

Qualifications

• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of health & safety practices.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.
• Experience in automotive, retail or logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally.
• Support Click & Collect and assist at the trade counter.
• Help resolve customer queries and improve the customer experience.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders.
• Assist with goods receiving, stock movements and dispatch tasks.
• Maintain stock accuracy with daily checks and inventories.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
• Use delivery tech and handheld devices accurately.
• Drive safely and promote a safety-first culture.
