Job summary

HSBC Group is seeking a Customer Service Consultant in the United Kingdom to provide outstanding service and educate customers to use our digital platforms. You will be the first point of contact in branches, owning customer needs and delivering an exceptional experience.

The role focuses on fraud awareness, financial inclusion, and guiding customers to suitable banking options. Full training is provided, with a 9-day in-branch course and a 35-hour work week, Monday to Friday plus Saturday

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage in effective conversations.
• Ability to identify vulnerable customers and respond with appropriate support.
• Strong empathy and a proactive approach to resolving enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and own their needs.
• Educate customers on HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
• Identify vulnerable customers and determine best support.
• Assist customers with complex banking needs and provide a personalised service.
• Take ownership of enquiries through to resolution and exceed expectations.
