Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative for our Brighton, London Road branch. You will assist customers in person, over the phone, and online, handling everyday transactions and queries while guiding customers to suitable banking services and digital tools.

As part of a local branch team, you’ll adapt your approach to meet varied customer needs, with focus on fair and trusted guidance and maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful but not required.
• Demonstrable empathy and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to provide trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit their needs and help them manage money confidently.
• Work with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
