Nationwide is seeking a Customer Consultant in Stornoway to support customers in branch and over the phone. You’ll help with everyday transactions, answer queries, and guide customers to digital tools that simplify money management.

This full-time role expects a customer-focused, adaptable mindset across a busy branch environment. You don’t need previous banking experience; a passion for customer service and comfort with technology will help you thrive.

Qualifications

No banking experience required, but a background in customer service helps.
Ability to demonstrate pride, empathy and clear communication with customers.
Comfort with using digital tools and guiding customers through online banking.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering friendly help with banking.
Handle transactions and queries accurately, keeping security and fairness in mind.
Help customers get the most from digital services and online banking features.
Guide customers to suitable banking products and services to manage their money.
Collaborate with branch colleagues to deliver excellent service, even at busy times.
Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers.
