Job summary

Stevenswood is seeking a friendly Branch Assistant to join its Bootle branch. The role combines customer service, sales support, administration and warehouse duties, with a 39-hour week and a 3.30pm Friday finish.

Salary is £26,485.68 per annum with no weekend work, five weeks' holidays plus bank holidays, and a benefits package including health cover and discounts. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• You will deliver friendly, proactive customer service and handle sales support tasks.
• You should be organised, accurate and able to work efficiently in a busy branch.
• You will communicate clearly, follow processes and support end-of-day banking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Look after customers: respond to enquiries, assist with customer accounts and update orders, quotations and promotions.
• Support sales: prepare quotations using branch software, explain products and reach out to customers.
• Manage orders and stock: pick stock, organise loads for dispatch and ensure goods are stored safely.
