Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking Admin Assistants to work with an NHS Trust in Lincolnshire on a temporary basis. These are full-time roles working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The roles will support departments including Neurophysiology, Respiratory Physiology and Audiology, providing a high quality administrative and bookings service to patients, carers and clinical teams. The post holder will be responsible for appointment scheduling, waiting list management and maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring services run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone calls from patients and book, amend or cancel appointments as required
  • Greet patients attending clinics and support appointment scheduling
  • Maintain patient management systems ensuring accurate and timely data entry
  • Manage waiting lists and support services to meet required targets
  • Liaise with clinical teams, service managers and external departments
  • Arrange interpreters and patient transport where required
  • Ensure medical records are tracked, available and returned appropriately
  • Support data collection and basic spreadsheet work
  • Undertake general administrative duties including photocopying and filing
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection and Trust policies
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in an administrative or bookings role, ideally within the NHS or similar clinical setting
  • Experience dealing with members of the public or customers
  • Strong communication and customer care skills
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
