Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Rochdale is seeking a Band 2 Booking & Scheduling Assistant to support the Rochdale Infirmary appointments team. The role combines office and home working on a rota basis after training, with a range of Monday to Friday daytime shifts.

You will receive referrals, book and amend appointments via phone, text or email, and answer general enquiries from patients. We are looking for someone with confident IT skills, a good telephone manner, clear

• Be confident using a computer and Microsoft Office
• Have an excellent telephone manner
• Be able to communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing patient referrals
• Booking and changing appointments for patients either via a phone call, a text message, or an email
• Answering and signposting general enquiries from patients calling our appointments line
