Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Boiler Service Engineer (Field Based) for the South East England region. The role involves installing, servicing and maintaining temporary heating and cooling equipment to high safety and performance standards.

You will be based primarily on the road, with a company vehicle and travel across the SE England territory, while meeting strict safety requirements and providing excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A, ICAE1.
• Desirable: 18th Edition, OFTEC qualifications, F-Gas qualifications.
• Desirable: previous chiller experience.
• Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining commercial heating and cooling plant.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• A safety-first mindset with a clear understanding of relevant codes of practice.
• Comfortable working independently in the field and as part of a wider operations team.
• Full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel across the SE England region.

Responsabilités

• Install and commission temporary heating and cooling systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Service heating and cooling systems ahead of delivery, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Communicate clearly with clients throughout, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, safety inspections and customer interactions, preparing reports as required.
• Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety regulations, codes of practice and industry standards.
• Keep tools and equipment in proper working order, promptly reporting any maintenance or replacement needs.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Stay current with industry advancements and best practice relating to gas systems and appliances.

Pay: circa £48,000 - £53,000 basic + overtime (at 1.5x salary rate)

Location: Home-Based (Field Engineer) Door-to-Door
