Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Boiler Service Engineer (Field Based) covering South East England. You will install, service and commission temporary heating and cooling systems, travelling to client sites and delivering dependable service.

The role requires essential boiler qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A, ICAE1), plus driving a UK licence. Desirable: 18th Edition, OFTEC and F-Gas qualifications, plus chiller experience.

Qualifications

• Desirable: 18th Edition, OFTEC qualifications, F-Gas qualifications.
• Desirable: previous chiller experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission temporary heating and cooling systems, ensuring safety standards and manufacturer specs.
• Service heating and cooling systems ahead of delivery, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues for optimal performance and safety.
• Communicate clearly with clients throughout, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, safety inspections and customer interactions, preparing reports as required.
• Ensure work adheres to safety regulations, codes of practice and industry standards.
• Keep tools and equipment in proper working order, reporting maintenance/replacement needs.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Stay current with industry advancements and best practice relating to gas systems and appliances.
