Options Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Shift Mechanical Engineer for a site-based role in Birmingham. You will maintain essential building services and operate mechanical plant, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding on ventilation, pumps, boilers and heating systems, and supporting a 24/7 service alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in engineering.
• City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications (or NVQ equivalent).
• Minimum of three years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and plant equipment.
• Experience with ventilation, pumps, boilers and heating systems.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across building services.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on complex mechanical systems.
• Maintain ventilation systems, pumps, compressors and boilers.
• Work on heating systems and domestic water services.
• Support 24/7 engineering service, including nights and weekends.
