Job summary

IQVIA Biotech is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Business Development to lead sales and account management across Europe. You will drive relationships with biotech clients, including C-Suite executives, and sell across the enterprise a broad range of Phase I–IV global services.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in CRO/pharma/biotech environments, with 8+ years in BD leadership, and a deep understanding of the European biotech market.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop long-term client relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and strategic sales planning.
• Experience selling integrated clinical solutions to CROs, pharma or biotech clients.
• Deep understanding of the European biotech market and commercialization dynamics.
• Ability to operate with senior executives and diverse internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and account management across the European biotech sector.
• Sell across the enterprise the Phase I to IV global services IQVIA offers.
• Manage client relationships at all levels, including C-Suite.
• Gather intelligence, build account strategy, and execute to expand IQVIA's portfolio.
• Close large deals with a strategic, value-based approach.
