Job summary

IQVIA Language Solutions is expanding its commercial team in Europe. We are seeking an energetic Business Development Specialist to identify opportunities across pharma, biotech, medical devices and CROs.

You will research target accounts, reach out to prospects and qualify interest, supporting the sales process from discovery to close. You will grow a strong pipeline, engage with stakeholders, and help create compelling proposals and materials.

Qualifications

• Early-career in business development, sales or related commercial role.
• Enthusiasm for building relationships and creating new opportunities.
• Curiosity about healthcare, languages, technology and AI.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, organized with the persistence to follow through.
• Comfort meeting activity goals and commercial targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools is helpful.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Research target companies, market segments and key stakeholders to identify potential opportunities.
• Generate interest through outbound outreach, campaigns, networking and follow‑up.
• Qualify prospective customers by learning about their needs and current approach to multilingual content.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline, with accurate CRM data.
• Schedule and support introductory meetings, discovery discussions and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior team members to progress opportunities through sales process.
• Help prepare account plans, proposals and customer-facing materials.
• Develop understanding of IQVIA Language Solutions and workflows.
• Collaborate with Presales, Account Management, Marketing and Delivery teams.
