Job summary

Labman Automation Ltd. in the UK is seeking a Support Engineer – Bioprocess Automation to provide hands-on technical support for our bioprocess customers.

You will help keep complex automation systems operating reliably and safely, with travel to client sites worldwide. The role combines maintenance, fault-finding, calibration, upgrades and customer training, working with an integrated engineering and quality team to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong practical electromechanical or mechanical engineering skills.
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding ability with a methodical approach.
• Hands-on approach and confidence using engineering hand tools.
• Strong communication and customer-focused professionalism.
• Willingness to regularly travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair Labman automation systems per procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades across mechanical, electrical and software.
• Provide hands-on and remote technical support, diagnosing issues and escalating as needed.
• Test system performance to keep equipment compliant with quality and safety standards.
• Document service reports and maintain maintenance records.
• Travel to customer sites UK and internationally; coordinate with engineering teams.
