Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior BIM Manager to lead model development and design services across a growing portfolio of Front End and Detailed Design projects for electrical substation projects.

You will work in a senior position based in the UK (Epsom, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol) or remotely, building strong client relationships and delivering BIM strategy and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Engineering design, drafting or equivalent.
• Experience in a leadership/management position in a similar environment.
• Strong understanding and leadership of engineering projects through asset lifecycles.
• Track record of leading teams in FEED or Detailed Design of electrical substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM model development and design services across Front End and Detailed Design projects for electrical substation projects.
• Provide Technical Leadership on FEED and Detail Design workstreams for National Grid, SSEN-Transmission or other clients.
• Develop and deliver the BIM strategy for the Transmission and Distribution sector.
• Lead a CAD team to deliver high quality models and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with BS 8888 and client standards.
• Setup and manage CDE environments with ACC, BIM 360 and Bentley ProjectWise.
