Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a BIM specialist to join our Places team in the UK. You will lead BIM delivery on large-scale projects, coordinate multi-stakeholder inputs, and help shape policy and strategy to ensure high quality information management.

You’ll couple technical proficiency with a collaborative mindset, training teammates, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and national standards as part of Arcadis’ commitment to sustainable design and excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading project delivery in a BIM environment.
• Experience implementing ISO 19650 accreditation/certification in a business setting.
• Experience establishing and managing ISO 19650-compliant processes on projects.
• Ability to train and support team members in BIM processes, protocols, and tools.
• Capable of delivering work on time and within budget with minimal supervision.
• Experience in BIM coordination and management, including running coordination workshops to improve model quality.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
• Proficient in Autodesk tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC.
• Experience with BIM model federation, validation, quality audits, and clash detection (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri).
• Prior experience in design, drafting, modelling and visualisation of BIM models.
• Knowledge of Dynamo, scripting desirable.
• Experience with 4D/5D BIM applications would be useful.
• Degree or qualification in Modelling; Engineering Technician status advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective working relationships with the Project Manager and client to ensure communication of progress and changes.
• Manage the BIM process on large-scale projects using necessary tools, with multiple stakeholders.
• Provide input to BIM policies and strategies related to BIM.
• Implement and ensure compliance with BIM policies and strategies within the team.
• Support the BIM Lead in information management, QA, process optimization and HR management to enable BIM implementation.
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis drafting and BIM standards and national standards.
• Continuously review BIM-related software and develop business cases for new investments.
