Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a senior BIM specialist in the UK to lead project delivery in BIM environments for large-scale projects. You will ensure ISO 19650 compliance, guide the team, and work with clients and stakeholders to align BIM strategy with project goals.

You will drive information management, quality assurance, and process optimization while coordinating workshops to improve model quality and implementing CDEs like ACC and ProjectWise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading project delivery in a BIM environment.
• Experience implementing ISO 19650 accreditation/certification.
• Experience establishing and managing ISO 19650-compliant processes.
• Ability to train and support team members in BIM processes and tools.
• Deliver work on time and within budget with minimal supervision.
• Experience in BIM coordination and conducting coordination workshops.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
• Proficient with Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and BIM workflows.
• Experience with BIM model federation, validation, quality audits, and clash detection.
• Background in design, drafting, modelling, and BIM visualisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Project Manager and client for progress communication.
• Manage BIM processes across large-scale projects.
• Contribute to BIM policy development and strategies.
• Implement and ensure compliance with BIM standards.
• Support BIM Lead in information management and process optimization.
• Lead and participate in BIM workshops to improve model quality.
• Explore and justify new BIM software investments.
• Ensure use of Common Data Environments (CDEs) like ACC and ProjectWise.
