Job summary

Arcadis UK is seeking a BIM Manager to lead complex defence, government and multi-disciplinary projects within the Places business. You will collaborate with a UK-wide team to deliver national and international work, ensuring BIM processes, standards and quality across the portfolio.

You will mentor colleagues, optimise information management, and drive digital innovation while aligning with Arcadis BIM policies and strategies for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading project delivery in a BIM environment.
• Experience implementing ISO 19650 accreditation/certification in a business setting.
• Experience establishing ISO 19650-compliant processes on projects.
• Ability to train and support team members in BIM processes, protocols, and tools.
• Capable of delivering work on time and within budget with minimal supervision.
• Experience in BIM coordination and management, including running coordination workshops.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
• Proficient in Autodesk tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and ACC.
• Experience with BIM model federation, validation, quality audits and clash detection.
• Experience in design, drafting, modelling and visualisation with BIM models.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective working relationships with the Project Manager and client for progress updates and issue resolution.
• Manage the BIM process with necessary tools on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Contribute to BIM policies and strategies and ensure compliance within the team.
• Support the BIM Lead in information management, QA, process optimisation and HR aspects.
• Ensure compliance with drafting and BIM standards across projects.
• Review and propose improvements to BIM software and develop business cases for new investments.
