Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Billing Transition Manager to lead the end-to-end billing process across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and revenue protection. You will manage a billing team, work with operations, sales, customer service and finance to resolve issues and drive improvements during migration and stabilisation.

The role focuses on ensuring complete, accurate invoicing, meeting deadlines and protecting revenue while enabling successful customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a billing or order-to-cash role.
• Proven people management skills to lead teams through change in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing or working in a billing migration project or finance transformation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure invoices are accurate and raised in line with customer terms and service data.
• Lead and develop the billing team, prioritising workloads and coaching.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, customer service and finance to resolve billing discrepancies and reduce delays.
• Monitor deadlines and month-end requirements to support revenue recognition and forecasting.
• Investigate recurring invoicing issues, identify root causes and implement process improvements.
• Ensure billing UAT is completed to business expectations.
• Maintain billing completeness and accuracy during migration and stabilisation to mitigate revenue leakage.
