Job summary

Onecom, the UK's leading business technology provider, is seeking an experienced Billing Migration & Technical Specialist to drive a major platform transformation from Tekton to aBILLity. You will act as the billing SME, ensuring accuracy, governance, and seamless customer experience across Finance, Tech, Operations and Product teams.

You will analyse legacy billing, map requirements, lead validation and testing, manage risk, and produce comprehensive documentation to support cutover planning

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting billing system migrations or platform replacements.
• Hands-on experience with aBILLity billing systems.
• Strong knowledge of billing logic, tariffs, discounts, and invoice cycles.
• Experience with reconciliations and revenue-impacting decisions alongside Finance.
• Telecoms billing experience preferred (mobile, fixed-line, connectivity, or subscriptions).

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document existing Tekton billing processes and invoicing logic.
• Translate legacy logic into future-state configurations in aBILLity.
• Support data mapping, cleansing, and migration readiness.
• Lead billing validation, parallel runs, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with finance, technology, operations, and suppliers.
• Produce documentation on migration rules, testing outcomes, and handovers.
• Support cutover planning, go-live activities and post-implementation hypercare.
