Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking a Billing Operations Advisor to ensure customers have a smooth experience from order to invoicing and renewals. You’ll manage billing and account queries, maintain customer records and work with Sales, Finance and Support to resolve issues.

The role focuses on accuracy, ownership and customer service, with opportunities to handle licensing, order processing and escalations across a 50-strong Billing Operations team based in the UK and India.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing operations, finance operations or order management.
• Experience handling customer and internal queries through to resolution.
• Familiarity with billing, invoicing, and licensing processes is useful.
• Strong numerical and data accuracy skills.
• Confidence using business systems and Excel.
• Ability to follow established processes and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for billing, order and account queries.
• Investigate and resolve invoicing issues and account discrepancies.
• Process sales orders and contract renewals, including discounts or special requirements.
• Raise credit notes and refunds where appropriate.
• Set up and maintain customer records accurately.
• Support product dispatch and licensing issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Support and other teams to resolve queries.
• Complete operations within KPIs, SLAs and deadlines.
• Identify errors and escalate when needed.
• Share knowledge to improve processes and customer experience.
