Job summary

IRIS Software Group in Greater Manchester is seeking a diligent Billing Operations Advisor to help ensure a smooth customer journey from order placement to invoicing and renewals. You’ll manage billing queries, maintain customer accounts and work closely with Sales, Finance and Support to resolve issues.

This role emphasizes accuracy, ownership and customer service as core success factors in a busy, process-driven environment.

Qualifications

Experience in billing operations, finance operations, order management or similar process-driven roles.
Experience handling customer queries and maintaining accurate accounts.
Proficient with business systems and Excel; able to spot discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for billing, order and account queries from customers and internal teams.
Investigate and resolve invoicing issues and account discrepancies, keeping stakeholders updated.
Process sales orders and contract renewals, including discounts or special requirements.
Raise credit notes and refunds where appropriate.
Set up new customer records and maintain existing accounts.
Support product dispatch and licensing issues with teams across Sales and Finance.
Meet KPIs, SLAs and deadlines while ensuring data accuracy and process compliance.
