Job summary

St Aloysius’ College in Glasgow is seeking a Billing and Credit Control Officer to join the Finance team. You will oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable across college operations and ensure timely, accurate invoicing and reconciliations.

You'll produce termly fee bills, manage credit control, and generate management reports while liaising with parents and external agencies. A detail‑oriented team player with strong organisational skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to Higher level or equivalent experience; experience in debt recovery preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to liaise with parents and external agencies.
• Excellent organisation, multi-tasking, and ability to meet tight deadlines using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable across all College operations, including tuition fees, wraparound care, and other charges.
• Produce termly tuition fee bills, manage credit control and reconciling income receipts and payments.
• Reconcile cash, debit/credit cards and other payments using the school MIS systems.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and assist with ledger analysis and other finance tasks.
