Job summary

Ofgem is seeking a bilingual Customer Service Officer (Welsh Language) to help ensure access to information and support as we drive towards a greener energy system. You will be the Welsh-language contact in the Delivery and Schemes team, using your bilingual skills to provide an accessible and effective service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused environment and understanding of customer journeys.
• Ability to solve problems and manage a shifting workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Dealing with enquiries on the phone and by email.
• Liaising with teams to understand priorities and workload.
• Handling non-complicated complaints and escalating complex cases.
• Supporting operations and scheme related work.
• Meeting the team’s KPI targets.
• Collaborating and providing ad-hoc support across the team.
• Being the main Welsh contact while handling Welsh enquiries.
