Scarlet Selection is seeking a Bid Manager to lead government contract bids in the public sector, coordinating research, opportunity discovery and proposal development.
The role covers the full bid lifecycle from initial research to submission and follow-up, with hybrid working requiring one day per week in the office.
You will work closely with commercial and technical teams to win contracts and support strategic growth objectives.
My Client are a growing company in their marketplace who provide temporary power, electrical and generator solutions across demanding live, operational and public sector environments. The business has built strong capacity through time critical event delivery and is now accelerating it's growth in capital projects, generator upgrades, maintenance and longer term technical service contracts. They have already secured significant Public Sector work and as part of their growth plans they are looking to take on a Bid Manager to be responsible for growth in this area.
The role of Bid Manager will involve bidding for government contracts, researching public sector procurement, business development and writing high quality proposals. You should have experience in winning contracts and seeing through the whole process from research, finding the right opportunities, submitting technical contracts, following through and chasing up. You will own the whole journey and you will be the person responsible for driving the whole process. The role will be hybrid and you are able to work from home whilst maintaining strong contact with the office which you will be expected to work from one day a week.
To be considered for this role you must have experience working as a Bid Manager and have proven experience in owning the whole process and being awarded contracts. You should be highly motivated and driven to succeed, and be instrumental in the growth of the company and help them to achieve their objectives
