Voyage-Care is seeking a Bid Manager to lead and support bids from opportunity to submission, ensuring deadlines are met and high quality compliant responses. The role sits in the busy tendering team and focuses on public sector bids within health and social care.

Reporting to the Head of Bids and Tendering, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, gather information, shape responses and drive improvements in bid quality and win rates.

Qualifications

  • A degree-level qualification is required.
  • Experience in public sector procurement is essential.
  • Strong IT skills with MS Office are expected.
  • Proven bid management and time management capabilities.

  • Manage and coordinate end‑to‑end tender and bid submissions
  • Produce clear, persuasive and fully compliant written responses
  • Articulate our value‑based approach across all tender documents
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to source accurate, up‑to‑date information

Bid Manager

Hybrid | 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced bid professional with a passion for winning work that makes a real difference? We’re looking for a Bid Manager to join our busy and ambitious tendering team, working on public sector bids within the health and social care sector.

Reporting to the Head of Bids and Tendering, you’ll play a key role in developing high‑quality, compliant, and compelling tender submissions that showcase our value‑based approach and directly contribute to business growth.

The Role

As a Bid Manager, you’ll lead and support bids from opportunity to submission, ensuring deadlines are met and standards are consistently high. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to gather information, shape responses and continuously improve our bid quality and win rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate end‑to‑end tender and bid submissions
  • Produce clear, persuasive and fully compliant written responses
  • Articulate our value‑based approach across all tender documents
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to source accurate, up‑to‑date information

About You

You’ll be an organised, detail‑focused professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys managing multiple priorities at once.

You’ll have:

  • A degree‑level qualification
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge of public sector procurement, ideally within health and social care
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven project management, planning and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • The ability to work independently and on your own initiative
  • A commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results

  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours to meet deadlines
