Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Business Development Executive to join the CPM off-trade team in the UK. You will visit grocery multiples, promote brands such as Smirnoff, Gordon's, Guinness and Johnnie Walker, and drive in-store opportunities across your territory.

Responsibilities include sales calls, promotions, data-driven stock checks, and ensuring optimal shelf displays while building strong relationships with store managers and buyers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous retail experience is ideal, but full training will be provided.
• Evidence of ability to build relationships with store managers and buyers.
• Able to analyse in-store data to inform promotions and space planning.

Responsibilities

• Carry out face-to-face visits to off-trade retailers on the territory.
• Advise on promotions and raise awareness of the product range.
• Check stock levels using provided data and resolve issues.
• Ensure shelf space and displays are in place to maximise sales.
• Draw up bespoke business plans and make recommendations to managers.
• Report on calls and share competitor information and achievements.
