Job summary

Ormiston Denes Academy is seeking a dedicated Behaviour and Pastoral Assistant to support students’ wellbeing, behaviour and personal development. You will work closely with teaching staff and the inclusion team to help students engage positively with school life and achieve their potential.

The role focuses on targeted support for individuals or small groups, monitoring progress and wellbeing, and contributing to an inclusive, safeguarding-focused environment for all students.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational/pastoral setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, empathy and ability to develop relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted behaviour and pastoral support to individual students or small groups.
• Monitor and record student progress, behaviour and wellbeing concerns.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral leaders and the inclusion team to support student engagement and personal development.
