Job summary

Ormiston Denes Academy is seeking a dedicated Behaviour and Pastoral Assistant to support students’ wellbeing, behaviour and personal development. Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral leaders and the wider inclusion team, you will help pupils engage with school life and reach their potential.

You will provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, monitor progress, and record wellbeing concerns.

Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, and the wider inclusion team, you will support students who may experience behavioural, emotional, or social challenges, helping them to engage positively with school life and achieve their potential.

In this role you will be responsible for providing targeted behaviour and pastoral support to individual students or small groups. You will monitor and record student progress, behaviour and any wellbeing concerns.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with children or young people preferably in an educational/pastoral setting. You have strong communication skills, empathy and ability to develop relationships. You will be committed to inclusion, safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for all students.
