Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a confident, resilient Behaviour Specialist to join a SEMH school in Wallington, London. You will work with pupils to manage behaviour, develop emotional regulation and engage with education, collaborating with teachers and pastoral staff.

Salary is £95–£110 per day, with a full-time flexible contract and ASAP start. The role focuses on supporting pupils with challenging behaviours, building strong relationships, and implementing individual strategies to promote

• Experience working with children and young people in SEMH settings is desirable.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Commitment to consistent behavioural support and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with challenging and complex behaviours.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Implement individual behaviour strategies and support plans.
• De-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support as required.
• Encourage pupil engagement with learning.
