Philosophy Education, Ltd. is recruiting for Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs at a specialist SEMH school in Barking and Dagenham.

The role is full-time and focuses on 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access learning and manage challenging behaviours. The successful candidate will have a calm, positive and resilient approach, experience with youth work or sports coaching, and the ability to build relationships and de-escalate

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEMH pupils in schools.
• Calm, positive and resilient approach to challenging behaviour.
• Background in youth work or sports coaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to SEMH pupils.
• Assist with behaviour management and enabling learning access.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupil progress.
