Behaviour and Inclusion Mentor

Start date: September 2025

We are a dynamic, inclusive and ambitious school in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour and Inclusion Mentor to join our Pastoral Team and support students at risk of disengagement or exclusion.

This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives by offering mentoring, advocacy and structured behavioural support.

Why this role?

You will work one-on-one with pupils, helping them set and achieve personal goals

You’ll play a central role in our trauma-informed and restorative behaviour approach

You’ll be part of a diverse, inclusive team that values care as much as academic rigour

The role includes ongoing training and development in youth engagement, mental health and SEND

You will:

Build positive, trusted relationships with students

Support transitions back into class or between provisions

Collaborate with families, external services and internal staff

Help run small group interventions on emotional regulation and resilience

Experience in any of the following is advantageous:

Youth work or PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) experience

Social work, mentoring, or pastoral support roles

SEND, SEMH or safeguarding environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
