Experis - ManpowerGroup is recruiting a Business Development Manager - Assessment in Birmingham. You will win new logos and manage project-based assessment opportunities, directing the full sales cycle from lead gen to contract award in a hybrid work setting.

You will build senior stakeholder relationships, shape bids, and collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure competitive, margin-aligned proposals and accurate forecasting. A growth-focused role with uncapped commission awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven success in winning new logo business and securing assessment-led projects in the Industrial environment.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of assessment/training opportunities.
• Experience selling into complex organisations.
• Demonstrable ability to originate and close high-value, project-based opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and secure new logo clients for assessment services, with a strong focus on project-based opportunities
• Develop and execute proactive business development strategies to penetrate this customer segment
• Own the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through qualification, bid submission, negotiation and contract award
• Build senior-level relationships with key stakeholders within target organisations
• Lead and contribute to strategic bids and tenders, shaping technical scope, commercial strategy and value propositions
• Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and delivery teams to ensure proposals are competitive, deliverable and margin-aligned
• Maintain a robust new business pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Maintain CRM hygiene, forecast accurately and contribute to sales reporting
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and client workshops
