Job summary

Stone King LLP in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Business Development & Marketing professional to join the firm’s BD&M Team. The role can be based in any office (Bath, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, London or Manchester) with hybrid working.

You will support event follow-up, client communications, sales enablement, and liaison between fee-earners and the marketing team to convert opportunities and strengthen relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and maintaining BD collateral such as pitch decks, case studies, credentials and product sheets.
• Understanding of BD processes: lead follow-up, tracking opportunities, and supporting pipeline activity.
• Confidence using CRM systems to update records, log actions, and extract information for reports.
• Ability to capture actions from meetings accurately and ensure delivery.
• Comfortable working with data and pulling key points for BD Manager updates.

Responsibilities

• Own the follow-up process for events and webinars, ensuring timely communication and pipeline generation.
• Advise on audience targeting and invite data to maximise attendance and engagement.
• Support development and progression of pipelines from event-generated leads.
• Attend meetings to capture and drive BD-related actions and communicate growth priorities.
• Create and maintain BD materials for the sales enablement hub and keep resources up to date.
• Respond to product-related inquiries and escalate opportunities as needed.
• Assist BD Manager with pipeline tracking and monthly activity summaries.
