Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Applications Engineer - Battery Diagnostic Systems with a strong mix of engineering and customer engagement. You will drive technical conversations, configure solutions, plan pilots, and lead installation and commissioning at customer sites.

The role requires hands-on experience with instrumentation, sensors and data acquisition, plus willingness to travel regularly within the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years combining hands-on engineering with customer-facing work or technical sales.
• Degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronic or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record building or commissioning physical systems (instrumentation, sensors, test rigs).
• Ability to read schematics, diagnose faults, and document procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions from discovery to deployment and support.
• Translate customer needs into system configurations, test plans and deployment requirements.
• Plan and deliver tailored demonstrations, evaluations and customer pilots.
• Install, commission and verify performance of systems at customer sites.
• Act as main technical contact, diagnosing hardware, software and data issues and coordinating escalation.
