The role blends workshop and field activity, supporting safe handling and maintenance of packs, modules, and energy storage systems at sites across the UK.

The position requires strong fault-finding skills, experience with lithium-ion batteries, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, automotive, battery, field service or engineering roles.
• Experience working with lithium-ion batteries, EV battery packs or energy storage systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and diagnose lithium-ion battery systems and components.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.
• Support battery pack and module disassembly in line with safe working procedures.
• Conduct planned maintenance, repairs and technical assessments.
• Provide engineering support at customer sites across the UK.
• Maintain accurate records of testing, inspections and technical work.
• Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
