Job summary

Perigon Search Ltd in Bristol region is seeking a field-based electrical engineer to service hybrid battery energy storage systems across a South West patch. You will diagnose inverter-driven faults, commission new units, and support remote diagnostics to reduce site visits.

You’ll manage your own diary, work with a compact modern kit, and receive structured product training as the range expands. Travel is door-to-door and paid; there is a light on-call rota; 25 days holiday and fully expensed

Qualifications

• Field-based electrical service role with focus on inverter-driven battery systems.
• Experience with fault-finding on battery and control-panel systems is a plus.
• Structured product training provided by the manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Electrical diagnostics on inverter-driven battery systems.
• Field-based work managing your own diary.
• Remote-first diagnostics—faults often fixed remotely before visits.
• On-call rota, 1 week in 8-9, with mostly remote support.
